10 – 13. Februar Dallas/ Fort Worth/Texas

Hallo hello !

letztes Wochenende waren wir in Fort Worth. Dr Ev musste dort Freitag arbeiten, und so nutzten wir die Gelegenheit, endlich mal wieder raus zu kommen.

Last Weekend we went to Fort Worth. Dr Ev had to work on Friday in Alcon Fort Worth. So we took the chance to travel for a weekend..

Das erste Hotel war eine einzige Baustelle! Zum Glück fanden wir schnell ein anderes, allerdings mehr in der Stadt.

The first hotel was nearly a complete construction side! But we found fast a better one directly in the city… normally we wanted to stay more outside.

I still have problems to write… here with apple device only pictures… then take old phone and try to write😀

Thursday we flow to Fort Worth Dallas, were we changed Hotel and had good dinner.

Friday Dr Ev went to work and I walked through Fort Worth. In the evening we drove 10 minutes away to „Cowboy Town“ Stockyards. Rodeo was there, lot of restaurants and Shops… you could buy all around cowboys. We had good dinner and bought some souvenir.

In evening we went to Fort Worth town, where we found a Deloreen Car from “back to future“ infront of a cinema.

Saturday we started to Dallas about 45 minutes away by car. It was so cold that we had a coffee at the hyatt and decided to drive to a book shop about 1,5 hours away on a very small village. Bjarne told us to buy some books with original signed from autor! We had good lunch and drove back to Fort Worth, where we gone home on sunday to Lawrenceville. In Dallas/Forth Worth nearly nobody worn mask… we looked like aliens with our masks😀

Weiterhin habe ich grosse Probleme mit dem Blog. Mit apple kann ich nur Bilder laden. Schreiben muss ich dann am alten Phone. Darauf kann ich nicht so viel schreiben… man tippt ein Wort und es dauert 20 Sekunden teilweise! Es hakt! Updates etc… alles versucht..

Donnerstag sind wir nach Fort Worth geflogen. Freitag war ich dort unterwegs, während meine Frau gearbeitet hat. Nachmittags sind wir in die Cowboy Stadt ca 10 Minuten entfernt gefahren. Dort waren viele Souvenir Läden, Restaurants und Rodeo. Wir haben dort zu Abend gegessen und dann ging es noch kurz durch Fort Worth, wo wir u.a. den Deloreen fanden vor einem Kino. Der Wagen aus “Zurück in die Zukunft“

Samstag früh ging es ca 45 Minuten Fahrt nach Dallas. Weil es uns dort zu kalt war, tranken wir nur Kaffee im Hyatt und fuhren ca. 1,5 Stunden auf s Land zu einem Buchladen, wo es handsignierte Bücher einer Autorin gab. Bjarne hatte uns hingeschickt. Nach dem Mittagessen ging es zurück nach Fort Worth. Sonntag Mittag dann zurück nach Hause nach Lawrenceville.

In FTW und Dallas waren wir neben den Hotelangestellten die einzigen mit Masken! Wir kamen uns vor wie Aliens😀😀😀
